Synthetic dreads are made with high quality KK from a variety of trusted manufacturers. They are backcombed and sealed twice using a high pressure steamer in order to give the best level of secureness and aesthetic perfection.
Synthetic dreads can come in 2 varieties: SE (single ended) and DE (double ended). Around 50 DE's are needed for 1 full head of dreads whereas about 90-100 SE's are needed for a full head of dreads. A lot of people like to mix the length of their dreads so don't be afraid to mix o so yourself.
There are also different styles of dreads: solids, candycanes (swirls), transitionals, striped, leopard print, blended and harlequin (only available in DE's).
Dread extensions are installed by braiding them into your own hair. With DE's, the hair is braided from the middle of the dread and down on side of it and with SE's, your hair is pulled through the loop and braided down the dread.

Wigs are the easiest and quickest way to transform your hair. Wigs allow more freedom and creativity than falls which can only be attached to the hair in certain places and extensions which take hours to put in and often conflict with work or school regulations. This is why many people turn to dread wigs as hair colour and style can be transformed in a matter of minutes whether it for prolonged everyday use or just for the nights you decide to go out.
I do not use party wig bases as they do not stay on the head properly and are generally not of good quality. I use adjustable wigs which are of high quality and come in a variety of fantastic colours.
When ordering a wig, chose a wig base colour (please contact me) and any colours from the KK chart. If you cannot see the colours you want from any chart then please contact me because I will try and find it for you.

Any harrassing or malicious calls, emails or messages will be reported to the police and legal action and criminal charges will be pressed.
Processing Times
Synthetic Syndrome, although a business, is not my main focus in life. I am currently studying at university and so I do have educational commitments as well as personal ones, therefore, processing times can change without notice so please check back to see what the current processing time is. The processing time given when you order is the processing time that you will have and will not change unless necessary. This may be due to bereavement, illness or a delay in materials.
Rush orders (orders wanted or needed by a certain date which is before the end of the processing time) can be placed for an extra fee of £10.00 for each week earlier the order is needed. For example, if the processing time was 6 weeks but you needed something within 4 weeks, you pay an extra £20.00. If the processing time is 6 weeks but you needed something within 2 weeks you pay an extra £40.
Returns/Refunds
Unfortunatly, I cannot except returns/give refunds on hair items due to health and safety.
I will only accept returns/give refunds on hair items if the order is wrong eg. you ordered blue and blonde falls but you got black and blue falls. However, I will only allow the return of the incorrect dreads that have not been used. If there is any sign of wear then no refund will be given.
Refunds/returns on footwear and clothing will only be accepted if the item(s) are faulty or damaged and a full refund will be given minus postage costs.
If you are unhappy with the condition of your dreads for whatever reason then please do not hesitate to send me a message about this, with clear pictures, of the problem. If the dreads have become very unravelled then I offer the service of resealing for free (this service is only free in dreads are made by Synthetic Syndrome and have not been worn).
All items must be sent back via recorded delivery (ask your local post office for details). If the item is lost and you have not sent the item by recorded delivery then you will not receive a refund or exchange.
At anytime, I hold the right to cancel or refuse your order with a full refund given for any reason.
Allergies In order to prevent the miscomfort and illness of others, I have included an allergies section to my policy. If you do not read this and you have an allergy to anything listed below then I am not responsible as it is clearly stated here!!
I live in a pet free home and all my dreads are made in a pet free area.
I have a partner who smokes although this does not come into contact with either the dreads or the area where the dreads are made.
This isn't an allergy warning, but one about the flammability of the hair. Kanekalon hair, which is what is used to make dreads is flame redtardant. However, it is not advised to plunge the hair into flames or burn with cigarettes etc as it does melt, smell and turn black and velcro-like.
Delivery/Shipping
Footwear and clothing is made to order in America and may take up to 21 days for you to receive the item(s). All other items are shipped out within 7 working days.
I obtain proof of postage for all of my items as it is needed for the records. This is a small white piece of paper which tells where the item is going and what date and is stamped by the post office or is a receipt with your postcode on it. Therefore, if an item is lost in the post it is not my responsibility but Royal Mail's.
I can send out my items in various ways: First Class, Second Class, Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery (Next Day) in the UK and Airmail or International Signed for overseas.
You must supply a complete and valid address for your order to be sent to including a post/zip code if applicable. If you do not do this then I will not be responsible for the order not being delivered to you.
If an item is returned to me by Royal Mail for any reason (eg. not collecting the item if you were not in with 1-2 weeks, dependant on postage type, or supplying an invalid address) you will have to pay for the resending of an item and supply the correct address if the first one was incorrect.
Please be aware that overseas buyers may be liable to pay for a customs charge. I try to reduce this possibility as much as possible, but it can occur so please be aware. If you refuse to pay customs and the item is returned to me, you will receive a partial refund (shipping and a 15% fee will be deducted).
All shipping prices are determined by me. They include packaging costs, actual delivery costs and fees dependant on which method of payment you choose (Paypal deducts a small fee from total sent).
Pricing All prices are in UK Pounds (GBP) and are subject to change at any time without notice. If you place an order, and pay for it, and during your order the price for the item you ordered changes you will not be charged the new price, but the price that was quoted at time of purchase.
